Don Fernando is a male peculiar with the peculiarity of ultraquick healing. He was one of the peculiars who tried and failed to defeat the Rogue Hollow in Devil's Acre, and is a potential ambrosia addict.
Library of Souls[]
After he and some other fighters drew straws, Don was chosen as the next combatant to fight the Rogue Hollow. He takes a vial of ambro to strengthen his peculiarity, then enters the ring. After taunting the hollow for a minute or two and then attempting to stab it, the hollow sends him flying headfirst into a metal post, which knocks him out and loses him the fight.
Description[]
Appearance[]
Don is a Spanish well-built man stripped to the waist. He has a bushy mustache and a relatively unscarred face, having just started out taking ambrosia. He has claw-shaped scars across his back, given to him by a grimbear. He claims they were an inch deep before healing.
Personality[]
Don is a "shameless braggart," announcing that he had never been beaten in a fight and would kill the hollow to keep its head as a trophy. He continuously taunts it, but doesn't actually engage it until forced to so as to keep his dignity. At heart, he is scared of the hollow and not keen on fighting it, as he was part of the group of men who "none seemed in a hurry to contribute more" blood on the ground by fighting the hollow.
Peculiarity[]
Don has ultraquick healing. A cut across his arm with a knife healed before his blood could hit the ground (though he was fortified with ambro at the time), and the slashes across his back could heal within the same day after being inch deep, though it still left scarring.
