While Adelaide Pollard is bringing Jacob and his friends to his room, he greets the Baroness, who is singing opera in her bungalow. She later watches the fight between Emma, Bronwyn, and two highwaymen, and alerts them to the third man attempting to escape.
After Jacob and his friends get caught by Leo, Leo reveals that the Baroness is his sister. Thanks to her putting in a good word for the children, Leo decides not to kill Jacob.
