Al Potts is a male peculiar residing in Flamingo Manor.

Biography[]

Pre-Series[]

Al used to live in an Indiana loop in the fifties, which shared an ymbryne, Miss Pigeon Hawk, with the next closest loop. He says that one day wights and hollowgasts appeared everywhere, and started getting rid of the ymbrynes.

A Map of Days[]

He would meet Jacob Portman, Emma Bloom, Enoch O'Connor, Millard Nullings, and Bronwyn Bruntley when the group travel into the loop. Adelaide warns the group about the police officers they saw outside were more like a gang, luring out-of-town peculiars into their trap and selling them. Adelaide eventually invites the group inside for something to eat where he talks about wanting to leave to look for an old girlfriend. While eating, Bronwyn asks him and Mr. Potts what their peculiarities were, which they ignored, instead saying they should go outside to get some sun. Paul later reveals that the gang in charge made a law that nobody can use their peculiarities except themselves.

Physical Appearance[]

Al is an elderly white man in a wheelchair. The left leg of his pants is rolled up and pinned, and he holds an ashtray in his lap, into which he taps cigars. He has missing front teeth.
