The Peculiar Children Wiki

Isambard Kingdom Brunel was a male peculiar with unbreakable bones. He is one of the real-life historical figures featured in Miss Peregrine's Museum of Wonders as secretly peculiar.

History[]

Brunel was born in 1806 and was a British engineer. He discovered that he had unbreakable bones after he survived many worksite disasters such as falls from great heights- although he mistakenly took these to mean that he was unkillable. However, he found that he was not, in fact, immortal, when he nearly died from inhaling a half-sovereign coin while amusing his children.

At the age of 53, Brunel died from a kidney disorder. He donated his femur bones to the Peculiar Archives, where visitors can attempt to break them.
