Javier is a male peculiar appearing in The Conference of the Birds. He seems to be associated with Miss Grackle's theater troupe.
The Conference of the Birds[]
Hugh Apiston, while bringing Jacob Portman and Noor Pradesh back to Devil's Acre with Bronwyn Bruntley, calls out to Javier as the man comes walking towards them. Hugh asks how the theater troupe's production of Jacob and Alma Peregrine's wards defeating Caul is coming along, and Javier tells him that the troupe is restaging The Grass Menagerie since some cast members were called away on loop-rehabilitation assignments.[1]

Javier is a man at least fifteen feet tall, and wears a top hat that adds another foot or two. He also wears tent-sized floral trousers. Most of his height comes from his legs, and the rest of his body is a comparatively normal length.
