Jessica is a young female normal refugee whom Olive meets at a train station in London.
Hollow City[]
Jessica would become one of thousands of children taken from London and sent to the country side for her protection on September 4th 1940. She would be found by Alma Peregrine's wards while they were going into London. Olive Elephanta notices her crying in the train station. Despite the blanket and cardboard suitcase that Jessica is carrying, Olive doesn't understand that Jessica is a refugee, and mistakes her sign that reads "115-201 London->Sheffield" as a price rather than directions.
Olive tries to comfort her by telling her she'd set her free if she could, which only makes Jessica angry and sad. Jessica tears off the sign pinned to her blouse and tells Olive that she doesn't want to go live in the country. Olive sympathizes with her, telling Jessica that she also didn't want to leave her home, but had to after it was bombed. The two then become friends but Jessica soon has to leave Olive to board her train.

Jessica is a young girl with pigtails. Due to her crying when she was introduced, she had puffy red eyes. She carries a blanket and a raggedy cardboard suitcase, and has a tag pinned to her blouse that states her evacuation to Sheffield.
