Lester Noble, Jr. is a male peculiar. He was one of the peculiars rescued by the hollow-hunters.
Biography[]
Lester previously lived in a loop in Anniston, Alabama, January 5 1935, until it was raided with the ymbryne killed. He fled to the present, which was then 1983, and holed himself up in a motel where he was found by Abe and H before he could age forward. They got him safely to another loop, and he later found his way to England.
A Map of Days[]
Jacob first sees him through a lobby window and thinks that he looks familiar, but is unable to place from where. He denies having met Jacob elsewhere, but Jacob later finds him again in Abraham Portman's operations log.
Jacob catches Lester as he is trying to leave his job and says his real name, to which he turns pale and states that his name is Stevenson. Lester makes Jacob meet him in an empty room where Jacob asks him for information on hollow-hunters. After giving him a matchbook, he reassumes his other character and asks that Jacob forget they ever met.
Appearance[]
Lester is a young man with close-cropped hair, deep brown skin, and soft features. He wears a big round hat staring placidly in his photo. His normal accent has a southern twang, but he fakes a British one during his job.
