Librarians were the rare type of peculiars that collected, guarded, and lent out souls in the Library of Souls in Abaton. According to Reynaldo, the Library of Souls was staffed by peculiars who could read peculiar souls like they were books.
Abilities
- Seeing and Handling soul jars- Librarians were the only ones that can see and touch the jars.
- Seeing and Controlling Hollowgasts- Though it is unknown whether Hollowgast existed before the Experiment of 1908 or not, librarians are known to have the ability to see and control a large number of hollowgast at once either by speaking the hollow’s language, willing the hollows to move, or feeling the hollow’s all senses and consciousness .
- Hollowgast Sensing- In addition to seeing and controlling hollows, they can sense if they are near.
