Lyle is a young male peculiar living in Hopewell, a loop of deadriser children.
The Conference of the Birds[]
Lyle appears with Eugenia when the pair interrupt Josep's conversation with Jacob Portman and Noor Pradesh. He hopefully asks if Jacob and Noor are really there to make the wights leave. After Jacob and Noor agree to stop the hollow in the loop, Lyle, Eugenia, Josep and another boy assemble thirty two of their loop's dead to help. He helps control the dead with Eugenia from inside one of the houses.
After Jacob's friends are let into Hopewell, Lyle is asked by Hugh if the wights brought Fiona in with them, but it is Eugenia who answers.

Lyle is a little boy who doesn't look much older than Eugenia, making him physically around 10. He rides in a wheelchair pushed by one of the loop's dead women.

Lyle is a deadriser like the rest of the children in the loop, being able to control the dead.
