Miss Finch and her aunt are mentioned by Miss Peregrine to Jacob Portman. Miss Finch's loop entrance is located in a rarely used portion of the London Underground, and fills with a terrific glow when reset.

She was in the Peculiar Archives building when it was raided by the wights, and was captured along with Miss Nightjar and Miss Crow.

Like other ymbrynes, Miss Finch has the ability to manipulate time and transform into a bird, which in her case is a finch.

Trivia[]
- The two Miss Finch's lived at the same time, despite Miss Peregrine's Museum of Wonders stating that every ymbryne alive is a different species of bird. This could be explained as them being different subvarieties of finches.
