During Jacob Portman and his friends' visit to the loop of Portal, Georgia, they pass by Reggie with his puppy. Paul Hemsley calls to him and asks if the puppy has been taught to roll over yet, to which Reggie says no, that the puppy's brain is too small and he needs to let it out of the loop for a bit so it can grow.
He later appears at the dinner table with everyone else.
