Rex Posthlewaite is a male peculiar and loop-keeper.

Rex is mentioned by Miss Billie, who tells Jacob and his friends that he winds Flamingo Manor's loop clock. He only stops by once every few weeks, as he is responsible for the whole northern Florida. He isn't allowed to die or get sick.
He also plumbs and does a little electrical, although he isn't licensed.

As a loop-keeper, Rex has the ability to manipulate time, but only with resetting loops. He cannot create loops of his own, as he is not an ymbryne.
