Biography[]

Pre-Series[]

At some point before Library of Souls, Sharon became addicted to ambrosia, also known as ambro. He was rescued by Myron Bentham. Unfortunately, by then he'd been on ambrosia for so long his face was left horribly disfigured.

Library of Souls[]

Sharon boats Jacob, Emma, and Addison through Devil's Acre and helps them escape from people hired by wights. He gives them directions through the loop. After a while, he seems to develop a certain care toward them, and even comes with them to retrieve Jacob's hollowgast from an ambrosia dealer. He used to think highly of Myron Bentham, who nursed him off his ambrosia addiction, but lost his respect for him quickly after he betrayed the peculiars.

A Map of Days[]

As Jacob and his friends follow Miss Peregrine through the Panloopticon, Sharon calls out to him. Miss Peregrine asks him to escort the children to the ministries building, which he agrees to. He reveals that he has been made the general overseer of the Panloopticon, and shows off his authority.

The Conference of the Birds[]

While Ulysses Critchley is trying to take Jacob and his friends to Miss Blackbird, Sharon appears and blocks the stairs, much to Ulysses's annoyance. Sharon states that the business with Miss Blackbird can wait, and takes the group down to the basement of Bentham's house. He shows them how they are monitoring secret channels for wight communications, to which Ulysses then rushes the group out of the basement while denying Sharon's statement.

At the heart of the Panloopticon, Sharon opens the battery chamber to show Jacob the absence of their hollow. He says that travel is impossible and the operations of the machine has stopped. However, he is in on an alternative to powering it. When Miss Blackbird looks at him, he tells her that it isn't quite ready yet.

He later invites Jacob and his friends to a meeting for loop freedom on a Saturday.

When Jacob, Enoch and Emma return from dealing with the American clan leaders and Ellery, he is part of the peculiars that meet them in Bentham's attic. He seems to start heading in Jacob's direction, and Jacob, who doesn't want to talk about loop freedom then, first mistakes Horace's tap on the shoulder for Sharon.

The Desolations of Devil's Acre[]

Sharon is approached by a sleep-walking Horace, who tells him to meet him by the Hardy Tree in St. Pancras's churchyard, to have his fastest boat at the ready and bring a load of powerful explosives, to blow up the wights' boat. He takes Jake, Horatio, Emma and Noor to the boat and gives them the explosives but then leaves while they're on the cruise ship.

Description[]

He apparently emits cold and a smell like refrigerated compost, which Jacob could feel and smell when Sharon came up to him.

Physical Appearance[]

Sharon is at least seven feet tall and wears a black cloak that hides his face completely in the care of shadows. Light does not seem to penetrate the dark in his hood; his face is disfigured and is only shown when he takes off the hood. He has long, icy fingers. His feet are bare, and Jacob notices that they don't exactly look human. His toes are as long as mini hotdogs and has thick yellow nails that curl like claws.
